Definition of tank
When we talk about the "tank" we are talking about our time bank. When we say that a player is entering the tank, it means that he or she has a tough decision to make and is using up his or her thinking time. In a live casino, a player will usually be given as much time as they need to think, as long as it is a reasonable amount of time. If one of the players at the table feels that the time limit is not reasonable, then they can ask for a timer to be put on to force them to make their decision within a specific time limit.
The tank when playing online
When playing online poker, the tank is more precise and visible to all.
