This section is called "Theory", but it covers more than just poker theory. You'll find interviews filmed at major tournaments, tips on poker's mental game, advice on dealing with downswings, news from the poker world and even videos exposing the collusion that can occur when playing live poker.
Speaking of collusion, if you want to know what it's all about, take a look at the video entitled "We Need To Talk About COLLUSION In Poker". by Doug Polk. In this video, you'll see that a couple are suspected of "softplaying" in a major tournament to win the tournament.
Softplay is when you don't play your normal aggressive poker in order to protect another player. For example, you'll never bluff the person you're "softplaying", and you'll make more passive plays to keep the pot small (e.g. call instead of 3-bet). This is obviously illegal and reprehensible behavior.
Another video that also caught our attention and may be of interest to you is a video entitled "Poker Science: Blockers", in which you'll learn that it's important to keep blockers in mind when playing poker. As a reminder, a blocker is a card that blocks. For example, if there are 3 hearts on the flop and you have the ace of hearts in your hand, you block the nuts. This card won't give you a flush, but it will give you the information that your opponent can't have the nuts.
As with all sections of the "Videos" section, if you ever have a video in mind about poker theory and want to share it with us, feel free to add it with the "Add a poker video" button. You'll be able to link a video from YouTube or Twitch.
