Jake Cody (jakecody)

Jake Cody was born in England in 1988. He was first seen on the international scene in 2010 when he won a €5000 buy-in event on the European Poker Tour. For his first position in this event, which took place in France, Jake Cody won €857,000, which at the time was worth around $1.2 million. The following year he won his first World Series of Poker bracelet in the $25,000 Heads Up No Limit Hold'em Championship. That day he won the prestigious bracelet along with the $851,192 that went with it. Jake Cody is still active on the international scene and has accumulated over $4.5 million USD in tournament winnings to date.

His association with PKR.com

With all his success, Jake attracted the attention of some poker rooms, including PKR.com. On November 17, 2011, he officially became a pro at the room. But the association was short-lived, as in January 2013, Cody officially announced that he was now a Team PokerStars pro. He made the announcement at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas. Speaking of PokerStars, he could be seen playing regularly on the gaming room under the pseudonym "jakecody".

Jake has since moved across the ocean to Los Angeles with his girlfriend. He still plays poker and his last paid finishes in major events were in 2023.
