Biography and performances
Benny Spindler is an online and casino tournament player. He began his career in 2006 at the age of 20 and became known worldwide in 2011 with his victory in the European Poker Tour London Main Event. In that event, he won £750,000. Information about him is hard to come by as he is quite secretive and has asked a few websites to remove his stats and tournament winnings so that this information does not become public. Benny Spindler is considered by many to be a very intimidating poker player at the table due to his skill and unpredictability. He is very creative at the tables and is not afraid to bluff in places where few players would dare to bluff, making him a very difficult opponent to face.
Former StarCraft player turned poker pro
Like many excellent poker players, Benny was once an excellent player of the video game StarCraft. He was a C+ rated protoss player. He was often seen using the aliases "Towelie", "psychobenny" or "ToX". After making the leap into poker, Benny was highly motivated to become one of the best players in the world. To date, his two biggest wins have been in casino tournaments. On 6 October 2011, he finished 1st in the EPT London Main Event for a prize of $1,157,625 and on 10 January 2009, he won $1,100,000 in the EPT No-Limit Hold'em Main Event 1 by finishing 3rd.
