If you're unfamiliar with the term Sit'n go, you can always take a look at our comprehensive list at the following address: https://www.push-or-fold.com/glossary/sit-go/

A sit & go is similar to a tournament. Unlike a tournament, it doesn't start at a fixed time, but when a quorum is reached. A sit & go has a predefined number of players. There are sit & gos with 2 players, 6, 9, 12, 18, 180, 360, etc. Sit & go formats are added year after year. What differentiates a tournament from a sit & go is that it will start when the number of entries is filled."

Many players new to poker start out by learning sit 'n' go. If this is your case, we recommend the video entitled: "The 5 fatal mistakes in sit 'n go poker", which will give you an interesting foundation. It's a very short video with lots of good advice. If you're looking for something else to improve your game, you can watch the video entitled "The basics of sit'n'go poker", which is around 100 minutes long. It features reviews of hands played in sit'n'go poker on the Winamax platform.

You'll also find videos of other sit'n'go variants, such as the 180-player sit'n'go and the "double or nothing" format, in which 10 players take part and there are 5 places paid (each of the 5 players wins 2 times his buy-in). You'll see that strategy in these types of sit'n'go is a little different from conventional sit'n'gos.
