Biography and performances
His pseudonym "Kool Shen" comes from his first passion: music. Indeed, before being a highly respected poker player, Bruno Lopes was one of the co-founders of the rap group Suprême NTM. As well as being a rapper, Lopes is also a producer and break dancer. He has been an official and serious poker player since 2008. He is also a member of the Winamax pro team. Lopes definitely has more than one string to his bow.
More than 2 million in live tournament winnings
Kool Shen has more than fifty paid places. His first performance dates back to February 17, 2008 when he finished 2nd in a 140-entry tournament (just behind Julien Dureisseix) for a €2,300 prize pool. His most impressive and lucrative performance is relatively recent when he won €703,990 in the €25,000 No Limit Hold'em - EPT Monte Carlo High Roller (event number 36).
