At an early age, Sean Winter was already playing high-stakes poker tournaments. As early as 2011 (he was born in 1990), he was already taking part in major casino events. A few years later, in 2015, he won his first major prize at the $10,000 Bellagio Cup. His performance earned him just over $500,000. A few months later, in June 2016, he took another major win in the $25,000 High Roller during the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. This time he took home $914,000. To date, Sean Winter has amassed over $28 million in tournament winnings. Winter is 25th on the list of poker's biggest tournament winners, despite his relatively young age.

Spectacular casino and online results

Winter not only has spectacular results in the most prestigious live poker tournaments, he also has spectacular results in the biggest online poker tournaments. Notable performances include 2nd place in the Spring Championship of Online Poker Main Event (held on PokerStars) for $1,048,000. The same year, he won a major tournament on PokerStars during the WCOOP tournament series (a $2,100 buy-in Progressive KO tournament, which earned him a $228,000 purse).

An almost fulfilled man

On a personal level, Winter is a happy man, married since 2016 and a father since 2019. Despite his 32 paid places in WSOP tournaments, he has yet to win a bracelet, probably the only thing missing from his incredible track record. With his talent, it's probably only a matter of time before that happens. He could be seen playing at the last WSOP edition in July and August 2023.
